Small Businesses to Support this Season: Chef Daniella
This holiday season NorthOne is highlighting independent shops from across the country. Small businesses are the backbone of the American Economy. Purchasing your gifts from independent retailers directly impacts the lives of business owners and their families, while giving you a unique and meaningful present. It’s a win-win.
This month we’ll be spreading some holiday cheer while pointing you towards the best stocking stuffers, got-to-have gifts, and thoughtful treasures for under the tree. We’re excited to introduce you to Chef Daniella.
Chef Daniella is blending flavors and pushing boundaries to create her culinary empire
Chef Daniella’s cooking career started at an early age. At just five years old Daniella and her pops started a video series Daddy/Daughter Cooking Show. That experience instilled a lifelong love of the culinary arts, and by the sophomore year of college, Daniella made the decision to pursue her passion professionally.
Daniella draws from her diverse cultural background to create her dishes. Mastering and blending cuisines she creates veritable culinary mixtapes, drawing inspiration from Latin, Asian, and Caribbean cooking to create delicious and diverse dishes. Her skills haven’t gone unnoticed. She’s cooked for the likes of Kaylin Garcia VH1’s Love and Hip Hop star, appeared on the television show Guy’s Grocery Games with Guy Ferrari, and participated in Food & Wine’s Best Chef 2015 program.
Chef Daniella has traveled across America spreading her joy of cooking and building her culinary brand. It’s lead to a lot of stand out moments. But her most cherished memory as a chef is selling her first bottle of spice blend, named for her grandmother. Creating the product was years of hard work.
“My favorite memory is when I finally got my first bottle sold. To see my grandmother’s face and name on a project that took me three years to bring to light was amazing,” said Daniella.
Today in Daniella’s shop you’ll find a mix of delicious spices, sauces, and more. They make a perfect stalking stuffer this holiday season.
NorthOne is proud that Chef Daniella banks with us. We’re so happy to support her as she continues to grow and evolve as an artist, and excited to see where her journey will take her.
